Ready Made Wood Blinds are manufactured from a timber specie called Basswood which is a very hard and stable American hardwood. This makes it an ideal Timber for making into Blinds.

Basswood blinds function in a similar way to Venetian blinds with cords for tilting the slats of 50mm blinds and a wood pole for tilting the slats of the 27mm blinds. In addition cords are used for raising and lowering the blinds.

Tilting controls for the blinds are positioned on the Left hand side of the blinds and cords for raising and lowering the blinds are positioned on the Right hand side of the blinds.

Our Basswood Blinds come complete with a strong steel headrail, fitting instructions, brackets and screws necessary for the installation.

All Blinds are available in many different sizes and for a small charge can be re-sized if necessary to fit your window or door.

Care of the Basswood blinds can be done with regular dusting and occasional wiping of the slats with a damp cloth.
