If you prefer to order from our standard size blinds without resizing, just measure according to the guide below and select the closest standard size available by clicking on Product Range. If you purchase a standard size blind, the measurements of the blind will be exactly the size indicated on the order form. So make sure you check if a clearance is required around the blind to enable it to operate without interference.
Important please note: Due to variations in computer monitor settings, blind colours shown are indicative only. Please contact us for FREE SLAT SAMPLES prior to ordering to assist in colour selection.
If a clearance is required, please ask for the blind to be Cut to size after carefully reading this measuring guide and always double check your measurements before ordering. You will need a steel measuring tape, pencil and paper.

- Measure and round off to the nearest millimetre (mm).
- Standard Size Blinds will be supplied with exactly the width as listed and the drop slightly longer by approx 10 to 20mm. We supply the drop slightly longer than the standard size to allow for a spare slat in the blind in case one gets damaged in the future.
- Cut to Size Blinds will be supplied using the measurements that YOU supply.
The first decision to make is whether you want the blind to be an 'Inside Fit' or an 'Outside Fit' see diagrams below.
Using your measuring tape first measure the WIDTH (wood to wood), then the DROP (wood to wood), and write down the sizes.
(Please ensure you give us your exact measurements as we will take the necessary deductions off these sizes to allow the blind to pull up and down without rubbing on the window frame).

Tip: It's a good idea to measure the width in three places. At the top, in the middle and at the bottom of the window. Record the narrowest of these measurements.
If you decide you want the blind to be an "Outside Fit" we suggest measuring to the outside of the architrave to minimize light gaps and to obtain maximum privacy. (For "outside" fit blinds, we do not make deductions from the sizes that you provide as this is unnecessary). If you have no architraves, we recommend adding 200mm to the window width measurement (100mm for each side) and 100mm to the drop measurement (to ensure coverage beyond the window sill).

Compare your measurements to the list of standard sizes available on the attached price list or go to Product Range and choose the Standard Blind Size which suits your measurements the best, or for a more finished appearance, choose a blind slightly larger than your measurements and ask us for the blind to be Cut to Size .
If you ask for a blind to be Cut to Size simply provide us with your measurements by following the Steps above and we will cut the blind to suit your measurements (re-sizing costs apply).

The accuracy of your measurements is absolutely necessary for a correct and proper fit of your blinds. We cannot be accountable for inaccurate measurements so if you have any doubt always be sure to double check before placing your order.
